With over a decade of experience, Amey Jichkar has worked as an engineer on Bollywood films such as Veere Di Wedding, Laila Majnu, October, to name a few. He works at Lost Stories Academy, where he teaches aspiring DJs and producers the skills and techniques they need to succeed. He also releases music under the artist name Zulex, showcasing his talent and creativity as a producer. Vedant has been a resident DJ in Karnataka, where he has played at various clubs and events. He also placed second in a national-level DJing competition, proving his skills and versatility as a DJ. Whether he is on stage or in the studio, Vedant always strives to deliver high-quality music that connects with his audience.

Aaditya (also known as 14.20) began his journey by becoming India’s Beatbox Champion and was a top 16 contender in the Asian Championship held in Taiwan. He has been producing music for over 7 years and has expertise in Sound Design and Synthesis. He has played with many well-known artists such as Gurbaxx, Divine, Ola Ras, When Chai Met Toast, Lost Stories, and DJ Chetas. He also performs at many underground events and shows. Aaditya is also highly experienced in making music for Films and TV based on his experience of working with 3 production houses as well. He has created ad films for notable brands like Mercedes, Hyatt, etc., and has worked on the background score of several award-winning short films.

Jay Rana is a music producer hailing from New Delhi, India. Having grown up appreciating music as the art form it is, Jay began actively producing music in 2014, where he discovered the depth of EDM. He sought to go beyond its popular stereotype and explore the genre's roots. However, despite the new avenues and achievements, Jay yearned to define his individual expression of music. Through the vision of Jay Rana, his interests and expressions of music are more mellow, melodic, and slow. His aim is to create music carrying a calm and relaxing vibe, something people can listen to throughout the day. Music, he believes, is meant to be a mood booster rather than an interference and so, his new approach is to make music that connects to the listener and their emotions. Music has no language but is instead an emotion in itself, and Jay seeks to imitate this in his ventures.

Having successfully completed his Bachelor's degree in sound engineering from SAE, Akshay Lakkundi has a remarkable background in music production. He has been actively involved with music production since around 2015-16. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with prestigious clients such as IIT Bombay, producing music for their projects. Additionally, Akshay has embarked on his own artistic journey, self-releasing music under his pseudonym, SKYUN, which has also led to his track being featured in one of the articles of Rolling Stone India. Along with the active role as a faculty, Akshay is also focusing on building his discography and preparing live sets to perform his original work. Furthermore, Akshay has gained valuable experience working both as a freelancer and in recording studios. This diverse range of experiences has enabled him to produce and master tracks for a diverse set of clients, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. When it comes to teaching, Akshay has also catered to a corporate clientele. By combining his extensive knowledge of audio with his teaching abilities, he offers a unique and comprehensive learning experience.

Pratham Mehra also known as Kimera is a Record Producer/ DJ. Pratham, being an alumni of the Lost Stories Academy, has gone on to play numerous amount of shows and garnered experience over the years. He has been a part of the academy as a DJ Instructor and has been imparting his experience/ knowledge to all the aspiring DJs. He is also one of the fastest-rising electronic artists from India. He released his debut single ‘Fight For Ya’ on the world’s no.1 DJs Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s label, Generation Smash. He has performed at ADE Mumbai and produced official remixes for international acts such as Tigerlily. He has also worked on the background score of the short film, 'Carbon,' featuring Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, which was awarded the coveted Dadasaheb Phalke Award under the best short film category. Live offline classes or “In the Studio” courses are in-person classes or group sessions conducted by our experienced faculty team at our academy in Mumbai. All offline live classes include Ableton Live Suite EDU license, Free All Access Pass and other benefits. Lost Stories Academy is located in Chembur, Mumbai where offline or “In the Studio” courses are conducted.
In the studio classes have a limit of 15 students per batch for practical lectures.
We offer 2 modes of payment. If you want to pay online in order to confirm your seat, a non-refundable advance payment of 100% is payable via secured online payment gateway on our website. If you want to pay via cheque/bank transfer to confirm your seat, a non-refundable advance payment of1st instalment or 50% of the course fee is payable through cheque/bank transfer. The student receives a confirmation email about the course enrolment as soon as we successfully receive the transfer. The student is then added to a whatsapp group where further details about the batch commencement is communicated. In case of cheque/bank transfer, the pending 50% fee or the remaining instalments are payable within 2 months of the course commencement. In case of some students failing to clear the pending fees, their access to all the course benefits is revoked. Furthermore, they will not be allowed to attend the remaining sessions.
Students are requested to carry their laptop to take important notes during the sessions and a studio quality headphone to practise exercises related to music production. Students can take advantage of in-person feedback (unlimited) from our experienced faculty whenever they have new demos ready.

In case you miss a session, you can go through the recorded live session video (screen recording) which is made available to the students in the membership area on our website on the same day of the live offline session. In the studio sessions are conducted using the latest Ableton Live Suite version.
Students should have a laptop and a studio quality headphone in order to make the most out of this course. Knowing how to play an instrument also helps in understanding music theory better but it is not a pre-requisite as we teach music theory from scratch in the studio.
