This module covers basic and advanced concepts in detail, such as track arrangement, using music theory inside Ableton Live to write melodies and chord progressions.
The Advanced Music Theory & Songwriting Recorded Course offers an in-depth exploration of musical concepts, beginning with intervals and various types of scales, including diatonic and pentatonic. Participants delve into chord theory, covering dyads, triads, tetrads, and pentads, learning to create chords and progressions. Functional harmonies and cadences are studied, along with their application in famous chord progressions. Voice leading, the circle of fifths, and key signatures are thoroughly examined for their roles in harmonic movement and composition. The course also teaches techniques for borrowing chords and changing scales to achieve unique musical expressions.
