With the recent news about Badshah investing into buying streams and likes and subscribers, no wonder that the artists have been using Social Media to an extent which could be illicit and also irreconcilable.
But to a certain extent, it also helps the artist to grow . So here is the main point, do you think fake followers and likes could help you have a better social media presence to build up the prestige or it’s just another fallacy which could turn upside down and unveil as a pitfall?

I honestly don’t think fake followers help in the longer run. Yes, it seems very glamorous from the outside, but as an artist, the main metric has to be conversion which is streams, super fans, tickets, merchandise, and with the use of fake followers the ratio between following and returns/conversations will be super low. And in today’s time, this ratio is super crucial and people don’t see the numbers anymore, but this specific ratio. So in an ideal world, avoid using fake followers. The process to gain organic followers might be slow, but it’ll be people who genuinely like your msusic.
